Can be used to hold vegetables, large chunks of meat, lobsters or crabs, or even to sterilize jars and utensils by heating.
Perforated walls let water in and out, and a stainless steel handle lets you lift the basket out of the boiling water when you're done, making it safer and faster that simply emptying the whole pot.
